Shannon and her sister Darla, both beautiful young women, were prisoners. They knew a secret, and would never have been released. But now they have escaped. Can they remain free? It seems unlikely. Is there, somewhere, some sort of resistance organization, fighting against the oppressors? There are rumours of it, but nothing definite. And even before Shannon and Darla have any hope of safety, they must cross a hostile desert on foot without being seen. It doesn’t seem possible that they can succeed.
